I was ready to leave the dog park the other day. My hooman let me sit in the front part of the car that day. When we started driving, we realized the barriers were up and all these people and firetrucks were going by. Something they called a parade. At first I was annoyed because we were just stuck in the car - I could have still been in the park with my friends. Or, if my hooman listened to me, we would have left earlier and missed this. But that was it, we would have missed all the smiling and waving people and all these firetrucks. It was a happy surprise.
So don't get upset the next time you come across a roadblock. Something important may be in store for you!
