I was lucky enough to be asked to paint my in-laws portraits for their 30th Wedding Anniversary by my husband's godmother. I'm not one for doing portraits of humans, much less ones that I know and love. I was very apprehensive when asked and a bit scared and insecure about taking it on. You can't grow and learn if you don't try, so I buckled down and started working on it. In the end, I surprised myself and was glad I was given the chance to do this for them.
